The Auld Alliance is alive & well with Christine Bovill

Linlithgow Folk Festival Association had developed close links with Linlithgow Twinning Association and many members participate in both organisations. The Twinning Association will be marking its 30th anniversary when Guyancourt Twinners come to Linlithgow over the Easter weekend in 2019.

To start the celebrations Linlithgow Twinning Association is proud to present a concert starring Christine Bovill whose shows at the Edinburgh Fringe have consistently sold out.

Christine Bovill PIAF

The award-winning Glasgow born chanteuse threads her own remarkable journey in song with the life and works of Edith Piaf. No gimmicks. No pretence. Nothing but a voice, smoky and evocative, singing of life’s triumphs and tragedies. A powerful musical homage to France’s most endearing and enduring icon. Christine Bovill’s Piaf has thrilled audiences in London, Berlin, Ireland and the Far East.

This outstanding performer will grace the stage at Linlithgow Academy, Braehead Road, Linlithgow EH49 6EH on Saturday 13th October 2018 from 7.30pm with tickets costing £12. This will be a BYOB event and doors will open from 7.00pm.
