As part of a drive to attract new people to the enjoyment of Twinning, a Social Evening will be held on Saturday 11 October 2014 from 7.30pm in Linlithgow Bowling Club, Philip Avenue (the Bowling Club is just up behind the West Port Hotel and Fire Station).

The evening is intended to be relaxed and informative for prospective new twinners by giving them a chance to talk to those who have already experienced Twinning exchange visits.  The hope is to have a little entertainment quiz and to be able to serve freshly made crêpes, along with a glass of wine.  There will also be a little folk singing to round off the evening.

The evening is open to anyone who wishes to come along.  The Twinning association will be presenting a Burns Supper in Guyancourt on January 31st next year, and that could be an ideal occasion to have a first taste of Twinning for anyone who hasn't been involved before.
