Linlithgow Folk Festival Association
Friendly Folk in Linlithgow!
About the Linlithgow Folk Festival Association
The Linlithgow Folk Festival Association does far more than its name might suggest. Ever since we got together in 1998, we have had as our main aim the promotion of folk music in West Lothian, in all its many different styles. We have:
- An Annual Festival
- Concerts
- Pub Folk Music Sessions
- A year-round Programme of Events see also local Press and Posters
- Involvement in the Linlithgow Twinning Association (Linlithgow being twinned with Guyancourt in France)
- A “Friends of Linlithgow Festival” Organisation
Submit your contact details NOW to join: it cost nothing and allows us to keep you informed of our events, advance ticket booking information, etc.
You may also email us with your views or enquiries on any aspect of the Association’s activities at mail@linlithgowfolk.com.
Annual General Meeting
The 2011 Annual General Meeting of Linlithgow Folk Festival Association took place on Monday 14th November at 8pm in the Upstairs Lounge at the Black Bitch Tavern, Linlithgow.
Getting involved with LFFA
Not everyone wants to get involved in serving on a Committee, but we are glad to hear from anyone interested – contact us as above or speak to a member. New Committee members and office bearers are usually proposed and elected at the AGM.
We are also reliant on, and grateful for the extra help we receive from volunteers, e.g. stewarding at the Festival and concerts, so if you would like to help in this way, but without joining the Committee we should be delighted to hear from you!
